About Dogs

Weknowdogs.net is a place u can share the experiences you have had with your dog.

Dogs are known as "man's best friend" and for good reason.

They are loyal companions, who can also help alleviate some of their owner's health problems.

Tooth Discoloration Causes

Your teeth are a part of your overall look and appearance. They break down the food at the entrance of your body’s digestive system to help in easy digestion once inside your body. Due to their constant use and functioning they tend to get discoloured. Many people hence opt for teeth whitening procedures. These procedures are commonly used by people whose careers depend on their looks but it’s not limited to them.

Age related discoloration

Age takes a toll on a lot of body parts and teeth are definitely one of them. With increasing age the outer layer of your teeth also known as enamel, starts eroding and more of the inner layer known as dentin starts showing. This inner layer is naturally yellow in colour and hence looks discoloured. Teeth similar to other parts of the body go through a developing phase during childhood. Any accident or brain injury during this developmental phase can affect its formation. This too is one of the reasons for teeth discoloration.

Treatment

There are many reasons that cause the discoloration of teeth. Thankfully there are ways to get rid of such discoloration. You can buy teeth whitening kits from the chemist or over the counter. Teeth bonding strips and bleaching gels are also available in the market for a quick fix.

Regular visits in Gold Coast teeth whitening would be a big help. Treatment depends on the level of damage that your teeth have reached. Mostly dentist will suggest you to use mild bleach at home whereas stronger bleaches are used in clinic under supervision.
